GE's unique Nautilus 9-crystal pulsed Doppler ultrasound transducer provides superior signal quality with the widest beam profile for ease of positioning. The Nautilus watertight transducers allow patient monitoring in a water environment when used with the Corometrics 340 telemetry system.

The Spectra Alerts Option and the high/low fetal heart rate alarms add "Smart" features to assist in the assessment of the patient’s tracing.

The exclusive "Smart BP" feature delays the blood pressure determination during a contraction to conform with the clinical standard of care. The Recovery Mode turns the recorder on and off to document vital signs while saving paper during the immediate postpartum period.
